New York Auto Show Photodump

So, yesterday (3/25/16), I visited the New York International Auto Show along with my friend and fellow Opponaut GE90Man. I took 260 photos, and deleted 220 of them. Most were repeats, as people walking into them.

The Camera:

Just a quick note here. I decided to use my phone (iPhone 6s) to take photos. Why not use a real camera instead? Two reasons: both of my point-and-shoots are utter crap, and I tried to bring less stuff with me.

And now... without further ado, here come the photos!

Strangely, there were no vintage Skylines. Just the 2013 Nismo spy car one. I even checked the display twice, and additionally on a different floor. My thinking is that they were press-only, and removed for the public days. My inner Skyline-fanboy was disappointed.

FP notes that this was a mediocre show. Yes, there weren’t too many interesting reveals. Yes, this year’s show was nothing spectacular compared to previous ones. But the FP authors must be jaded, because in my opinion, the auto show experience was fun and enjoyable.

Oh, and by the way, if you want a photo of something that I didn’t include in here, just comment. I’ll probably have a shot of it in my Recently Deleted folder. No BMWs though. All I took was that M760Li.

The 6S did a fine job (as did you). I'm impressed that you were able to get clear shots without someone else getting their picture taken next to the car...or are those part of the deleted 240?

Thank you PyramidHat! And yes, the around 160 of the 220 were the same shots with MWAR PEOPLE, 30 were shots in front of screens which had some other car or some guy’s face on them, and the final 30 were just angles that I didn't like.

I work in Franklin, TN down the street from the Nissan HQ and see so many of these with fleet tags on them that the design, no matter the color is way too understated for me. I love the front 3/4 of the new Maxima and I even like the new Murano but this beats all other Nissan products for sure.
